It’s the perfect place for a 15-minute mindful walk. Listening to the birds, breathing in the fresh pine and salty air, and seeing the ocean at the end of the path is one of the most powerful and simple ways to ground your energy and clear your head. It's magical!
2. A Nourishing Pause: Dane & Port
You can't heal your mind if you don't nourish your body. For this, my favourite spot is Dane & Port on Poole Road in Westbourne.
It’s a truly special place. The owners are lovely, always so warm and welcoming, and you're guaranteed great conversation. They serve the most amazing organic, vegan food, which is a unique blend of Portuguese and Danish cuisine. It's nourishing, delicious, and made with real care. 3. A Mindful Movement: The Amethyst Cave
Sometimes, stress gets trapped in the body and we need to move to release it. Finding a supportive space to practice mindful movement is key.
My go-to recommendation for this is The Amethyst Cave in Southbourne. It's a true sanctuary for the mind and body. While many places focus just on fitness, they offer grounding practices like Yoga, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong.
These ancient arts are incredible for quieting a racing mind and reconnecting your body's energy. It’s a wonderfully supportive environment that perfectly complements a Reiki practice, helping to release physical tension and restore your inner calm.
4. A Deep Restoration: Your In-Person Healing Session
A walk, a healthy meal, and a mindful class are all beautiful ways to find calm. But when you need to deeply restore your energy, a dedicated session is the next step.
