Auralite 23 Natural Point – 136g
Deep within the ancient geological formations of Thunder Bay, Ontario, crystals formed over more than 1.2 billion years, slowly crystallising under immense pressure and mineral rich conditions. Among these rare formations emerged what is now known as Auralite 23.
This powerful specimen carries the unmistakable signature of that ancient origin.
The crystal shows a beautiful lavender to soft violet amethyst body, with areas of smoky translucency and milky quartz growth along the base. The surface reveals natural etched growth patterns, evidence of the crystal’s long formation deep within the Earth.
Near the centre of the crystal a secondary internal point formation can be seen, appearing like a smaller crystal emerging from within the body of the larger one. This internal structure creates remarkable depth and character when light moves through the stone.
Several areas display natural internal rainbows, small prismatic flashes created by microscopic fractures inside the quartz. When rotated in light, these rainbows briefly appear and disappear, giving the crystal a subtle sense of movement.
The termination remains largely intact and natural, with layered growth lines visible across several faces. Along the sides, the crystal displays distinct horizontal growth banding, showing the stages of development that occurred as the crystal formed over time.
This piece also carries natural textured mineral veils and inclusions, typical of Auralite material, giving the stone a raw and ancient character rather than a polished or commercial appearance.
At 8.2 cm tall and weighing 136 grams, this is a solid, substantial natural point with a strong presence.
Every Auralite crystal forms uniquely, but pieces with visible internal structures, rainbows and secondary point formations are especially sought after because they reveal the crystal’s complex geological history.
This is a crystal that clearly tells its story.

Metaphysical Properties
Auralite 23 is considered one of the most complex quartz formations because it can contain traces of many different minerals within the crystal structure. These inclusions form during extremely long geological processes, giving the crystal a layered energetic signature.
Because of this complexity, many practitioners consider Auralite a stone of integration and spiritual evolution, helping align different aspects of mind, body and spirit.
The internal structures seen within this piece, including the secondary point and rainbow fractures, symbolise layers of consciousness unfolding over time, making it a powerful crystal for personal transformation and awakening.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Auralite 23?
Auralite 23 is a rare amethyst based quartz found primarily in Thunder Bay, Canada. It is known for containing traces of multiple minerals formed over extremely long geological periods.
Why is it called Auralite 23?
The name comes from early mineral analysis suggesting the presence of up to 23 different mineral inclusions within the crystal.
Are the rainbows natural?
Yes. The internal rainbows are natural prismatic effects created by microscopic fractures within the quartz.
Is this crystal polished?
No. This is a natural raw point with its original growth surfaces preserved.
