🌿 Simple Self-Healing with Jin Shin Jyutsu: What Each Finger Helps You Release

  • At Crystals & Reiki, we love empowering you with ancient, accessible ways to restore balance. One of the most calming and powerful tools you can use at any time is the Jin Shin Jyutsu finger hold technique—a gentle, no-pressure touch practice that works with your body’s natural energy flows.

By simply holding each finger, you can begin to harmonise emotional patterns and support related organ systems. Here’s your quick guide to get started:

🧘 How to Do the Finger Hold

  1. Sit or lie down comfortably.

  2. Gently wrap the fingers of one hand around one finger of the other hand—like a loving embrace.

  3. Hold that finger for 2 to 5 minutes, breathing slowly and deeply.

  4. You may feel a pulse, warmth, or tingling—that’s energy beginning to harmonise.

  5. Repeat with each finger if desired, or just hold the one that matches your current emotional state.

💡 Tip: You can do this anywhere—at your desk, before bed, or during meditation. It's subtle but deeply calming.

🌬️ Bonus: Healing the Palm Centre

Place your left palm over your solar plexus (just below your sternum), and gently place your other palm on top of it. Breathe deeply and feel your power centre realigning. This calms the nervous system and strengthens your sense of self-worth and inner peace.

🌸 Why It Works

Jin Shin Jyutsu teaches that energy blockages in the body cause emotional and physical imbalances. By holding the fingers, you’re allowing life force energy (ki/chi/prana) to flow more freely—bringing calm, balance, and clarity.

🌟 Try This with Crystals

You can enhance your finger holds by pairing them with small crystals:

  • Amethyst for calming worry (thumb)

  • Black tourmaline for releasing fear (index)

  • Carnelian for transforming anger (middle)

  • Rose quartz for softening grief (ring)

  • Citrine for empowering joy and purpose (little finger)

Simply hold the stone with the same hand that’s holding your finger.

💗 Begin Today

This practice is free, simple, and always available to you. Whether you’re in a moment of stress or winding down before sleep, holding your fingers is a beautiful ritual of self-care and energetic balance.
